Why the courthouse matters for bail
After release, the defendant must appear at the correct San Diego Superior Court division for arraignment and every following hearing. Missing a date can put the bond at risk and trigger a warrant, so we make sure you know exactly when and where to appear. If a date is ever in doubt, call us before it passes, there are usually options to fix it.
Court division is generally tied to the arrest location: central San Diego routes downtown, North County to Vista, South Bay to Chula Vista, and East County to El Cajon. Find your city on our service-area pages for the matching court and jail.
